Something is going on that I feel I need to address. I've been hearing some accusations that my song "Quathay" is not an original work, and that it is a cover of a song written by Nick Atoms. I have no idea what you people are talking about.

The song is an original composition by me. The lyrics were inspired by suffering children in Africa; the music is the product of my own hands. I've never even heard of this Mr. Atoms.

Please stop sending me hurtful emails. All I wanted to do was share my art with an undeserving world.

Today I launched the new web site design. How do you like it? It is meant to synergize life and art into something both chaotic and beautiful. I also like to cook, so I will be sharing my favorite recipes with you all.

I worked all day on my new single "Quathay". Inspiration took hold and I worked for 16 hours straight. I did not stop to eat or evacuate. Art demands sacrifices such as these.

Excellent news! I was just asked by Lucky Sky and Earl Lucks (I wonder if those two are related?) to appear at some convention called MarsCon in March. They want me to perform for 15 minutes. I really don't know what those nerds would have done without me there. I mean, how much time can you spend discussing TV and books? And don't even get me started on their fitness.

I saw the oddest thing on Craigslist this morning. It was a pair of musical automatons -- slightly used, but unique and probably repairable. The seller only wants $50 for the pair. Maybe I'll check them out after my yoga and sweet tea.

I was wrong. There are no ideas. I can't seem to find that creative thread I need to weave my tapestry of musical love. The intent is there, but the muse has yet to appear.

Maybe I need to take a break from music. My old jazzercise students keep calling to ask if I'm planning a class this winter. Maybe that's just what I need to take my mind off things.

I'm borrowing Mums' computer becasue I simply had to tell you all that I GOT A KEYTAR FOR CHRISTMAS!!! It's a Yamaha SHS-10 and it is gorgeous. This is what I was missing.

The Roland was fine, but it was too stationary. I need to move! The keytar will allow me to both play music and perform my aerobics-inspired choreography. Look out, world! Hot Snack Time is coming!

I did it! I bought my first keyboard today! It's a used Roland, but I love it already. The electricity I feel when I touch the keys is new and exciting. The ideas for composition are coming faster than I can record them. This must be what living feels like!

Fitness will always be my first love; however, I am yearning for a new form of expression. I tried to work out my demons through sculpture and metalwork, but all they did was make me more unsettled. Works of charity are nice, but I'm self-aware enough to know that the good feelings will not last long.

I need an outlet for the feelings I have welling up inside. Perhaps electronic music is the path for me.
